Our client is a leading telecommunications provider of corporate solutions and a household name with an impressive and expanding customer base across the UK. Selling Broadband & Internet Services, VPN, Call Centre, Telephony and LAN Solutions as well as Cloud & Data Centre Services, they are currently seeking to strengthen that position by recruiting an additional Channel Sales Manager in the geographical area above.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales acquisition and relationship management activity within the Wholesale Telecoms market. You will meet and exceed sales targets ensuring management of the existing contracted base and significant growth in specific sectors and accounts. You will be responsible for managing bids and taking opportunities through the business approval process constructing business cases and justify CAPEX and OPEX spend & resource allocation.

Successful applicants will have the ability to understand new products and the significance of market trends in the wholesale telecom sector. You will have exceptionally strong data networking product knowledge (IP, DSL, Ethernet, MPLS etc). You will have the ability to drive new business through existing and emerging technologies and be prepared to spend time away from home when required. It is essential that you have good sales and account management experience of liaising at senior/board level.
