Have you got what it takes to lead a sales team in a rapidly growing mobile media company who are taking the global market to new heights. This company have been trading for only 5 years and already have over 1 billion end users via partners ranging from mobile operators to media owners worldwide.
A creative mobile media company who specialise4 in entertainment, marketing and personalisation are on the look out for a seasoned sales director with experience selling into media agencies or add networks. They are the supplier of a unique service that no other company in the UK can offer. They supply services of instant messaging both on the Internet and mobile phones. This allows businesses to advertise directly to their target market. Their extensive range of services and products also includes content creation ( including time sensitive / news content ), content management, portal redesign and branding, screen savers, mobile TV, video and picture messaging , TV print and music video production, storyboards and concept design and a range of other innovative unique services.
As a sales director you will be responsible for recruitment, motivation and training of your sales team. You will be a hands on manager who excels in leading from the front and revels in reaching targets, you will have sole responsibility in the management of the business in the UK. You will play a pivotal role in building up the revenue and leading a team of 4-5 sales managers. You will ensure a robust programme that requires a professional consultative approach to training and development of your sales team. For the first year you will be expected to reach a target of £1.5 million you will have a proactive approach and share the responsibility of creating new business opportunism while making sure you maintain good relationships with existing clients.
The ideal candidate will have had extensive experience in a senior management role and exposure selling into media agency and ad networks, You will be a self sufficient, enthusiastic, tenacious individual who is excellent at networking and is confident in your communication and presentation skills. This role will involve meetings in either London or Europe so you will enjoy travelling and meeting people from all walks of life.
