City based Investment Bank seek a Front Office Technical Support Analyst within electronic trading, you will have solid knowledge of Unix (Command Line) & Programming in SQL, Shell Scripts & Perl. This is a Front Line role working with both internal & external clients, this business has grown very fast in the last few years & the trend is continuing. The electronic business is the largest generator of traded volume within the cash products business, & supplies clients with exchange connectivity, algorithms, smart routing, analytics. Support is key to such a transparent market access business. The team are business facing technical team. They manage the quality, stability & integrity of production environments & are strongly aligned with the business users who are Traders, Sales Traders & Operations personnel dealing with external client flows. You will need to be comfortable working in a production environment & with a high level of trader interaction you will provide technical assistance to both the internal traders, & crucially the firm’s external clients. Supported client applications will include both internal trading systems & FIX technologies.
This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in a global project & would give the successful candidate excellent exposure to the financial marketplace for Equities & Futures, including Basket & Algorithmic trading.
