Our client is a large Blue Chip organisation who are looking for a 1st Line Support Engineer -
Role Discription
Internal Help Desk Support
Essential Skills
Windows XPskills, MS Office, Email. Good communication skills are essential as phone support will be required. Good documentation and customer service skills are essential as are strong organisational skills.
First line helpdesk support
Strong Spoken English
Desirable
Ideally the candidate will have experience with desktop build deployment
Lotus Notes 8.5
This role would ideally suit a graduate or college leaver.
Previous experience of technical troubleshooting.
Role
To help receive and manage helpdesk tickets by email or calling customers.
Respond to telephone and email queries in a timely fashion.
Escalate and re-route any technical queries to the appropriate departments and 3rd party technical support.
This role is challenaging, customer focused and will require a driven, enthusistic person to help manage the business change.
Produce and manage regular reports on volume of contacts to help desk and other ad-hoc reporting when necessary.
