Our client is a FTSE top 30 company and one of the world’s leading media companies.
Due to substantial and continued growth in the Audit and Risk Management Department we are recruiting for two Senior Audit & Risk Management Financial Consultants.
Key tasks are:
Assisting in the preparation of the annual, risk-based audit
Managing on a daily basis the planning, performance & report delivery of audit assignments within the Finance and Operational area
Building and maintaining a close working relationship with the senior management teams
Regular reporting to senior management on key issues identified during the reviews
Maintaining and developing audit programmes to adequately address existing and emerging risks, plan and monitor team's audit work
Ensuring that the audit universe is updated regularly and remains appropriate at all times
Working with business management and other staff to position the audit function as a real alternative to third party consultancy services.
We seek those who have
A recognised accountancy qualification
Self-confidence, able to work with and command the respect of senior executives
A sound understanding of controls and risks and their application to the business environment
Good influencing, negotiating and writing skills
An ability to engage in the detail of the operating business processes
Ideally audit experience within the media, telecoms or Blue Chip company
