2493 - Sales and Marketing Director

We are working with an associate recruitment consultancy whose client is an international removals company. They are currently looking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Director for Malaysia. The position is permanent.
As Sales and Marketing Director, you will lead the Country Sales and Marketing Teams and will be responsible for growing the number of multinational corporations that the company does business with to increase export revenues.
In addition to managing a team you will personally be responsible for developing corporate international moving business from start to finish, be able to cold call, visit and close the business.
Specifically you and your team will sell the company services to Human Resource Managers who are responsible for selecting moving companies to relocate their expatriate's household goods.
You will make cold calls to establish sales visits to generate new business and will make cold calls for market research to assess business opportunities.
You will conduct sales presentations to gain marketing information that can be turned into business.
You will build, update, and maintain a detailed customer database from your work.
You will maintain good relationships with corporate clients.
You will general sales reports, analyse data and take appropriate action to increase sales revenues.
You will follow up sales leads from different sources and the database.
You will attend networking functions, events or cocktails functions.
You will share sales leads and operate as a member of the corporate sales team.
You should be an accomplished Business Development Executive / Manager ideally with experience of selling removals and relocation services.
The client seeks "assertive" candidates who are extroverted, magnetic, energetic, driven, goal oriented, and customer focused with a proven track record in sales.
You must be able to demonstrate previous success in telesales and sales.
You will be confident, self-motivated, and sales-oriented personality with a "go get it" attitude.
You will have an attractive and persuasive voice with a good telephone phone manner.
You will enjoy speaking to and meeting new people and able to communicate with different levels of people.
You will have good detailed organizational skills and excellent persuasive and presentation skills in English.
You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, be able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines.
Superb inter-personal skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.
You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities.
Finally you should possess a Drivers Licence and be PC / IT literate.
Salary is negotiable dependent upon knowledge and skill set.
