Can you improve rural life in transition and developing countries? This leading international development consultancy helps governments, NGOs and the private sector face the challenge of helping the poor. Would you like to be part of them?
You'll join the management board and lead a team of professionals in areas such as
·rural policy and research
·farm and non-farm enterprise development
·rural infrastructure and service provision
·economic policy analysis and formulation
·social inclusion and strengthened voice
providing strategic direction, thought leadership, sales and business development support,
staff and practice management, as well as spending short periods in-country delivering projects yourself.
Can you can match some of this profile?
·expert in agricultural or development economics or related subject area
·track record of success in livelihoods and rural development in the 3rd World
·experience of working in a consulting company or similar organization
·managing and delivering aid-funded development projects.
You'll join a well-known consultancy as a member of its management team, with the flexibility to spend three weeks out of four working from home, the balance overseas. The are also prospects for advancement to the Board.
