ACA Group Finance Manager
London - Home Based
Qualified Accountant - ACA Group Finance Manager required for London based client. Group accounting, IFRS and excellent IT skills all a must.
Group Finance is responsible for financial and management reporting, financial accounting, budgeting and forecasting, strategic plan, project work for FD, and cash reporting. The recipients of the data include the senior management of the Group, including the Performance Committee and the plc Board of Directors. The ACA Group Finance Manager works alongside one other Finance Manager and reports directly to the Group Financial Controller.
Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Monthly consolidation of management reports;
• Consolidation of year end and interim statutory returns for preparation of external reports including all aspects of the consolidation and liaison with auditors;
• Consolidation and preparation of forecast information and annual budgets;
• Systems maintenance and development;
• All aspects of IFRS reporting within the consolidation and keeping up to date with developments to accounting standards;
• Liaison with all finance personnel throughout the global organisation on financial and reporting matters.
• Cash flow reporting and consolidation of forecasts on a monthly basis;
• Treasury management of central debt facility providing funding to subsidiaries;
• Ad hoc project work, including involvement in financial due diligence, purchase accounting for acquisitions;
• Accounting advice and financial due diligence on proposed transactions, under IFRS; and
• Liaison with Group Tax manager in respect of accounting for taxation;
• Review of Group company accounts and liaison with accounting staff regarding transactions;
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
·Degree educated, professionally qualified (ACA or equivalent)
·Experience of multi-national corporate organisations;
·Experience of Group Accounting in UK IFRS plc environment;
·Good technical background and excellent IT skills/literacy;
It is essential that the candidate has proven communication skills and can work with a diplomatic communication style. Experience of working with all levels within an organisation is also essential as is a professional approach and demonstration of cultural flexibility within an international business
