Account Director - Public Sector, IT Outsourcing and IT Managed Services
We are seeking Account Directors to work for an organisation that has the leverage and capacity to successfully deliver complete enterprise services to the UK Local Government. The organisation invest in their people so you will feel engaged in the business and actively contribute to the continued growth. The Account Director opportunity exists to sell the complete portfolio to a market that is expected to be worth £10 billion and own a Client relationship.
The Local Government Account Director will be responsible for:
- Leading deal teams to the customer for Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing deals with order values in excess of £50m in Local Government
- Assembling all required resources/skills to develop proposal, pursue and win large international Outsourcing deals.
- Coordinating all deal team efforts with sponsorship of OS Engagement Director.
- Lead negotiations for large complex global deals.
- Proactively managing all resource requirements throughout deal pursuit.
The successful Account Director will be able to demonstrate:
- 10+ years in complex IT Public Sector service business environment.
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of corporate policies, products, markets and processes, and an understanding of business management principles and practices.
- Mastery to state-of-the-art technical, functional or business knowledge.
- Managerial and planning skills.
- Managing successfully at least 3-5 large regional or global managed services or Mergers and Acquisitions deals.
- Unique and comprehensive industry knowledge in the public sector
- Capable of working with the client to develop their high-level IT strategy and roadmap.
- Proactively creating small but significant consulting assignments that shapes RFP's before they are issued reducing risk for clients
- Credible board level transformation advisor.
- Familiarity with program & project management methodologies.
- Leadership skills in directing pursuit and/or delivery teams with many indirect reports.
- Highly developed consultative approach, solution selling and business development skills with an ability to consult with CEO's of global companies.
