The role
Our client is now seeking a New Business Sales Account Manager to be responsible for managing and growing the German-speaking market
Responsibilities
To grow the Mid Size Chemical Market in Germany
• Enhancing new relationships with customers, to build additional relationships on different levels and to consult with customers on future projects
• Opening, qualifying and closing sales opportunities mainly with new customers
• Development of a sales pipeline to support future sales and business planning
• Management of the day to day sales process
• Close cooperation with colleagues in Business Consulting, Services, and Product Management
• Provide account updates, sales forecasts to the sales management
• Lead the account planning activities in close cooperation with other worldwide team members

Qualifications
• We require a Sales Professional with a proven track record of selling Enterprise Solutions (ERP, SCM, MES or PLM) and Professional Services at senior and executive level within an international environment. – c 3-5 years relevant sales experience.
• Experience selling to the Chemicals and Life Science industries (Process Manufacturing) with a well established sales network.
• Specific Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System [MES] and Plant Planning and Scheduling is highly advantageous.
• Fluent German speaker
• Degree Qualified in Engineering [Chemical or Electrical] preferred
