Our Client is a substantial European owned provider of logistics services to the food sector – both retail and manufacturing. With strong growth plans and good funds, the business is aiming for broad leadership in an highly competitive sector and the recent award of a major contract, necessitates the early appointment of an account manager to coordinate the start up implementation and growth of the account.

Working closely with the BDD and with the customer, you will have full responsibility for the account and for ongoing development of added value solutions throughout its supply chain. You will work closely with operational and functional colleagues to ensure for implementation of solutions at correct margins. This is a role which demands excellent account management techniques and project management skills.

Already an accomplished and successful key account manager, your earlier background will have encompassed operational responsibility in a 3PL or in-house. You will be trained in start up/implementation, fluent French is mandatory as is a passion for continuous improvement and business development. Previous experience in the food sector (manufacturing or retail) will be essential, as will your ability to progress in this growing business.
