GROUP ACCOUNTANT
My client is a £200m t/o listed design and manufacturing company with offices world wide. Due to their growth through acquisition a requirement for a Qualified ACA Group Accountant has arisen. You will report to and provide support to the Group Finance Manager.
As the Group Accountant your key responsibilities will be to prepare the head office monthly flash and actual results including profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow spreadsheets, monitor daily Group cash balances and take responsibility for obtaining better interest rates on surplus cash by use of money market lines, calculation of the UK group's corporation tax quarterly instalment payments including quarterly VAT returns and prepare the annual head office budget and the statutory accounting information and schedules needed for annual audit and tax work.
The ideal candidate will be ACA Qualified with 1-3 PQE experience and have strong financial and academic background. You will have advanced excel skills and have previous group accounting experience. The company offer a generous remuneration package including excellent benefits.
