AEC Technical Development Engineer

ROLE - AEC Technical Development Engineer (EMIA)

Due to the expansion of their Technical Development Group, our client is seeking a highly experienced architectural/structural Engineer to work alongside internal development organisation who are focused on strengthening their European sales operation in the AEC markets. This is a highly profiled role within a corporate organisation demanding the highest calibre of candidate to work within a team dedicated to continual growth and improvement. The role will be challenging but the opportunities for the successful candidate who has the right skills, determination and drive will be greatly rewarded. You will be responsible for focus sing on developing, coaching and supporting the various internal sales regions of the client from a technical standpoint.

Person Specification – (Higher weighting is more important) –

10 - Must have good technical knowledge of AEC design and construction industry.
10 - Previous experience in a similar role within a software development company.
10 - Excellent understanding of AEC Solutions.
10 - Excellent business appreciation - ability to think outside the box and can show creativity.
10 - Excellent experience of working within a Software Vendor Management environment, and should possess excellent technical industry knowledge.
10 - Must have experience of coaching, mentoring, and have the ability to implement new procedures/processes internally.
10 - Excellent presentation skills and be able to communicate at all levels.
10 - Excellent leadership and analysis skills.
10 - Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
10 - Flexibility to travel to EMIA and US on a regular basis.
10 - Fluency in English.
10 - Personality - Self starter - confident - assertive - professional - self motivated - results driven - organised - problem solving - negotiation skills.
9 - Degree in Architectural, Structural, or Construction Software Development or relevant discipline.
