Our client is seeking an Affiliate Marketing Manager for its line of consumer security software products (anti-virus, security suite). Applicants should have 4+ years online marketing experience – including time spent managing an affiliate program.
The Affiliate Marketing Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day executing of AVG online affiliate programs. The Affiliate Marketing Manager should be familiar with affiliate programs (ex: Commission Junction, LinkShare), how they work (from both the affiliate and merchant side) and have strong relationship management skills to grow and develop a program.
Detailed responsibilities include:
Thorough knowledge and understanding of key metrics and tracking for assigned channel (i.e. top affiliates, conversion rates, recruiting of affiliates) and ability to define and maintain critical reports.
Budget and forecast monthly revenue and expenses
Develop and execute campaigns targeting affiliates (trial offers, web site specials) to meet monthly sales goals.
Assist with production of promotional pages, banners with designers and Web developers.
Find new programs to join. Work with local market representatives to expand reach.
Understand relationship between affiliate marketing and SEO, PPC activities
Monitor affiliates to police behavior
Communicate successes with rest of marketing group, key partners.
Stay up-to-date on current trends, developments in affiliate marketing and tactics of competitors.
Requirements:
4+ years online marketing experience.
Must have some affiliate marketing work experience.
Fluency in English.
Experience with Web analytics tools.
Email marketing experience a plus.
Excellent Excel skills.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and standard online marketing tools.
Motivated personality to “own” channel/segment and grow revenues.
