Agile Project Manager (Smallworld/Release Maanger)

The company led in technology fields from turbine and generator technology to sensors, controls, meters, and many other products. Within the Software Solutions Group they develop software products supporting power generation, transmission and distribution right through to end-user metering, and monitoring and diagnostics. In this role you will define and work within an agile environment to develop and deliver solutions for the companies Smallworld product suite. In this role you will drive the continuous delivery of one of four key product release streams: Utilities, Comms, Integration and GIS Core. Ideally a geospatial background is advantageous as well as knowledge of the utilities and comms market places. You will have experience of multiple development methodologies e.g. test-driven development, Agile and will be a Certified Scrum Master ideally using the Rally Software Platform. (Smallworld is a provider of geospatial network design, engineering and documentation solutions.)

You will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering with proven product development and product development management expertise and a proven track record of Release Management, Test driven development. Managing dependencies between products within their portfolio, and interfaces between product stream portfolios in collaboration with other Release Managers Working with other groups, QA/QC, Chief Architects, operations, SW Support Manger to ensure software is developed and maintained to a world class standard and will have Led and managed a skilled group of Software Developers.
