Area Manager - Dorset

Do you consider yourself an experienced Area Manager with the desire to drive a business? If so you have the opportunity to join one of the UKs most well respected blue-chip retailers as an Area Manager.

The duties and responsibilities associated with this role centres around an overall accountability for the performance of the stores in your region. This translates into P&L awareness, assessment and development of store practices in order to maximise sales potential, and a real focus on your colleagues and customers.

The area comprises of approximately 10-15 stores.

The ideal candidate should have area management experience from a blue-chip FMCG retailer ideally from a fast-paced mixed goods, DIY, food, catering or electrical retailer. You will need extensive experience of managing a team and enjoy working to your own initiative and embrace innovation rather than just implementation of processes.

You should be able to motivate, lead and inspire your team and also be aware of the need to advance your colleagues and set targets for individual performance and/or achievement in order to make a strategic longer-term impact through your own engagement and delivery with colleagues.
