Area Manager – Suffolk/Norfolk

The duties and responsibilities associated with this role centre around an overall accountability for the performance of the stores in your region. This translates into P&L awareness, assessment and development of store practices in order to maximise sales potential, and a real focus on your staff and customers. Each area comprises of between 15-20stores.

The ideal candidate should have area management or strong store management experience from a blue-chip supermarket, DIY, electrical or fast paced mixed goods retailer. You will need extensive experience of managing a team and enjoy working to your own initiative and embrace innovation rather than just processes.

You should be able to motivate, lead and inspire their teams and also be aware of the need to advance your colleagues and set targets for individual performance and/or achievement in order to make a strategic longer-term impact.

Overall you should be able to have the ability to make a difference and also demonstrate in delivering on your own personal growth &development.
