Asset Data Manager
Warrington - North West
Our client operates the electricity distribution network that provides power to over 2 million customers in the North of England. It has 14,000km of overhead lines and nearly 50,000 km of underground cables under management as well as the supply infrastructure to enable delivery.
Working within the planning team, the Asset Data Manager will manage the relationship with external reporting bodies and internally to ensure the provision of data in an accurate and timely manner.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
·Understanding of all external reporting requirements.
·Create and maintain a master data list.
·Close liaison with all relevant departments to enable the provision, understanding and reporting of data.
·Provide representation on national working groups.
Experience
·An understanding of the GB electricity market would be beneficial.
·An understanding of asset management techniques.
·Strong analytical and decision making skills.
·Strong written and oral communication skills.
·Commercially aware.
·A detailed understanding of the operation of, and engineering behind infrastructure assets.
We are looking for a progressive and driven individual who has a proven track record within the electricity or utility market or within related infrastructure based businesses. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate are a must.
