Asset/Liability Manager

Our client is a modern and progressive retail bank, headquartered in London.
A key role has become available for a suitably qualified Senior Manager to take accountability for Asset/Liability Management across the balance sheet. Reporting to the Head of Balance Sheet management and managing a team of 2 Analysts, key accountabilities will cover Interest Rate Risk, Liquidity Risk and Funds Transfer Pricing.
To be considered for this role, candidates will need at least 7 years progressive experience working within an ALM function or with ALM systems in a major commercial, retail or investment bank. Additionally you will need an in depth understanding of derivative instruments to manage interest rate risk and first rate presentation skills and the ability to partner effectively with senior management.. It is preferred that you have business experience gained from a Finance, Product Management or Treasury/IB front office role.
