Assistant Director
London - London
A public sector transformation or change management consultant looking for a new challenge? What they are saying about smaller firms and the public sector is all true: figures are up and they are looking to expand!
This boutique, forward thinking consultancy – which sits inside a prestigious parent –provides complex financial advice to local and central government and housing sector clients. It is expanding its transformation and change management team, and is looking for an associate director to spear-head its work helping the public sector reduce costs and boost efficiency. The context of the role means all the pros of a smaller firm – less restrictive protocols and you can plough your own furrow – but with the bonus scheme and reputation of a top-tier brand.
You will have an impeccable academic record, be an outgoing personality which questions assumptions, and an effective networker. You also have the potential to, or experience of, winning new business.
Core projects will include change management activities across mainly local government, but also NDPBs and central government. Your main focus, at least initially, will be advising on efficiency/cost reduction using a wide range of innovative approaches. Therefore knowledge or experience with organisational development, transformation, front office shared services or Lean/Six Sigma, would be desirable.
You will also be keen to extend your reach with diversity & community engagement, strategy, policy research & evaluation, and stakeholder interaction.
Remember, we are recruiting at all levels, so if any of this sounds like you then please contact Stephen Humphreys, the recruitment adviser at BLT handling this role, by emailing him at mcapplications@blt.co.uk or calling on 0207 419 0909.
