Our client is a leading project, cost and surveying consultancy in the UK working across the public and private sectors. They are bucking the trend in terms of business expansion and development and are set to grow again this year. They have confidence in the market and within their sectors they are busy and also profitable.
They now looking to appoint a dynamic individual to help them grow their expanding Energy and Sustainability Consulting Team, based in Manchester. Reporting to the Divisional Director, the individual will be responsible for driving growth, delivering projects, client management and team supervision.
Initially the role would be at Senior/Associate Consultant level, with the prospect of promotion to Associate Director in the next 2 years (based on achievement of targets). However our client would also consider entry at Associate Director for the right individual.
The role will involve the management of low carbon projects and installations from options appraisal and concept design to post installation performance management for projects across the UK. Preferably from an M&E or Building Surveying background, candidates will be currently involved in delivering energy efficiency and/or renewable energy projects.
Requirements:
MCIBSE or Low Carbon Consultant accreditation
A BREEAM Assessor qualification would be an advantage
An extensive experience in the delivery of energy efficiency & renewable energy projects
An extensive experience at surveying properties to assess energy conservation measures (ECMs) and developing feasibility, business case or ROI calculations for retrofit or new-build options
An understanding of funding and finance models and mechanisms for ECMs and renewables projects would be a distinct advantage
