Associate Director - Finance and Housing
London - London
An experienced corporate financier with experience in housing and real estate? What they are saying about smaller firms and the public sector is all true: figures are up and they are looking to expand!
This boutique, forward thinking consultancy – which sits inside a prestigious parent –provides complex financial advice to local and central government, and housing sector clients. It is looking for an associate director to help lead the team. The context of the role means all the pros of a smaller firm – less restrictive protocols and you can plough your own furrow – but with the bonus scheme and reputation of a top-tier brand.
Experience of giving financial advice to public sector housing and regeneration projects is a must; as is an excellent academic history.
You will need a good operational understanding of public sector finance, accounting and policies at both local and central government level. You will have experience of interpreting, implementing and adopting regeneration policy. Business development is something that you have done and relish.
Personally, you will be a self-starter, have an ability to influence, be flexible and highly analytical, as well as having a strong attention to detail. You may be in a bank, and given financial advice on housing projects, in the public sector itself or in a consultancy
If this sounds like you and you like the sound of this new and stretching challenge, then please contact Stephen Humphreys, the recruitment adviser at BLT handling this role, by emailing him at mcapplications@blt.co.uk or phoning on 0207 419 0909.
