The Role
As a Business Development Manager you will be charged with generating new business through lead generation, cold calling, setting and making appointments, and closing in order to sell Specialist Freight/Aviation/AOG/Aircraft on Ground/Biopharma/Temperature Control/Clinical Trial /Pharmaceuticals to SME's and corporate companies in the UK and Europe.

The Candidate
The successful candidate for this Business Development Manager position will have abundant experience in Specialist Freight/Aviation/AOG/Aircraft on Ground/Biopharma/Temperature Control/Clinical Trial /Pharmaceuticals. Experience can be operational or field sales in nature but you must have extensive experience and good contacts in either specialist freight division.
You will be a tenacious and driven individual, able to self-motivate and succeed in a target driven environment. You will have a consultative sales approach and will be used to long sales cycles.

The Package
For this Business Development Manager role you will be rewarded with a basic salary of £50,000 - £100,000, negotiable based on previous experience, with a commission structure of 25%-30% of base salary (upon hitting targets) bringing OTE to around £125,000. Benefits include Pension, car, laptop and phone.
