Bid Manager - Infrastructure Software - DV Cleared
Our client, a software vendor based in Basingstoke, are urgently seeking a number of Bid Managers specifically for Public Sector customers.
The responsibilities of Bid Manager role are as follows:
- Developing plans and schedules for the multi-faceted elements of the opportunity Bid process
- Working with costing personnel, solution development (technical and business) personnel, commercial personnel and sales professionals to manage the Bid lifecycle through to submission of proposal to client
- Planning and undertaking status review meetings among Bid team members to ensure Bid timelines are met
Skills required of the successful Bid Managers are as follows:
- Current DV clearance
- Project/Programme management principles, tools, techniques and methodologies
- Principals of metrics and interpreting results
- Knowledge of financials and budgets
- Effective communication skills
- Team player
- Proposal/Bid Management experience
- Prince 2 Methodology
- Public sector industry project management experience
- Excellent presentation skills - written and verbal
