An excellent opportunity to join a leading PFI FM provider as a Bid Manager to be based from their London office.
The main purpose of the Bid Manager role is to be the main lead in bid responses and subsequent bid activities. The Bid Manager will also be required to receive bid documents and then prepare and manage the company response to them.
The key responsibilities for the Bid Manager include:
• Receive bid documents and then plan, prepare and manage the company response to them, ensuring that risks are properly identified and mitigated.
• Manage all client contact related to the bid on behalf of the company, including managing and participating in presentations to prospective clients.
• Prepare and maintain all documentation required by the management plan, including but not limited to the bid programme, bid delivery matrix and bid budget forecasts, and providing regular updated reports against same for inclusion in the project quality file.
• Mobilise and manage internal and external resources within budget.
• Assist the development support team in pre-qualifications and other formal submissions prior to short-listing.
• Ensure that the company's responsibilities to other PFI consortium members, for projects within post holders’ responsibility, are discharged.
• Assist the PFI Development Director as required in accordance with the management plan, including but not limited to preparation and submission of internal reports.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of developments in FM.
• To comply with company policies, procedures and QA requirements and ensure a safe and healthy working environment within the post holder’s span of control.
• To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the department / service.
