Bid Manager - Managed Services

Having acquired a portfolio of companies over the last 18 months, our client can now provide solutions from desktop to complete managed services. As part of this process they clearly need confident sales and pre sales specialists to articulate their propositions. In support of all sales they need highly professional teams 'behind the scenes' to work on and deliver successful bids. It is currently this area of support that we are looking to attract experienced, successful Bid Managers for. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate that they have managed virtual teams and been responsible for owning the P&L for the bid. This experience will have been gained working on bids including hardware infrastructure and complex Managed Service, probably within a vendor, systems integrators or major consultancy. As mentioned the successful applicant will be responsible for managing a virtual team responsible for developing attractive solutions to meets the customers needs. Therefore excellent communication, presentation and people skills are essential, coupled with an eye for attention to detail and methodical admin skills. Candidates will ideally have gained a Degree prior to starting their careers in IT however, we will consider someone who has worked their way up into a similar position but seeks a rewarding new challenge.
