Bid Manager - Outsourcing Services

A major system integrator is looking to increase their team of Bid Managers. The main responsibility of the successful Bid Manager is to be the single point of accountability and Project Manager responsible for all aspects of the pursuit process. This role develops and manages comprehensive pursuit plans and ensures the support team is staffed, engaged, and equipped to fulfill its respective tasks. You will be responsible for the end-to-end project management of the opportunity.

The ideal Bid Manager - Outsourcing Services requires the following experience and skills including:

- Technical University or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 6 years experience in a technical consultative selling and solution/account management position - ideally Bid focused
- IT Technical Bid experience a distinct advantage with a minimum of 5 years experience spent in project / program management
- Appropriate solution or career certifications
- Technical / Solution acumen - understanding of business drivers etc
- ability to Links Deal Hubs solutions with data business center needs to create customer business value
- Appling broad understanding of technical innovations and trends to solving customer business problems
- Establishing thought leadership in solution or technical specialty area with customers
- Demonstrable ability to work as the lead for components of large complex projects; hands-on level skills with some of the technology within specific solution area

The Bid Manager - Outsourcing Services need the following abilities:

- To leverage financial and accounting concepts as well as capital investment concepts in demonstrating business value of proposed solutions to customers
- To create solutions that address customer value chain and business requirements
- Persuasively communicates the value of the solution in terms of financial return and impact on customer business goals
- Appropriately tailor communications to varying levels of customer management
- Extensive level of industry acumen; maintaining and enhancing knowledge on current trends and able to converse with client on relevant issues and challenges
- Excellent clear and concise, verbal and written communication skils are a must whilst dealing with the client as well as internal contacts.
