BIM Manager - UAE

An experienced BIM Manager is required in the Middle East for this well established, global engineering consultancy.
In this role, you will be required to provide BIM Technical Services one of their premier projects and as well as many exciting associated projects for all phases of design, construction and commissioning. This will require you to work closely with design teams to refine the models and BIM deliverables.
In this role, you will be required to provide support to project delivery teams by managing the resolution of BIM related issues and tasks and there will be substantial liaison with client’s wider BIM initiatives which will require you to integrate them into program.
As a BIM Manager, you will provide oversight, direction and support to the project designers and contractors for integration of the program’s BIM policy. You will also be required to work with the client, their consultants and contractors to coordinate BIM issues with projects.
Specific skills:
• Extensive knowledge of standard BIM practices, techniques, and procedures
• Working knowledge of applicable codes and regulations
• Understanding of computer systems and their applications.
• Support the interfacing of the ePM system with BIM.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
Minimum ten years experience.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree, although a master’s degree in architecture, construction management, or a related field is preferable. A member of technical society is preferred.
