International securities and investment banking division of this successful global group have a number of project initiatives within their IT Risk & Finance group. We have a new role for an experienced Business Analyst with Systems Testing and extensive Risk Management exp. (knowledge of Riskwatch a Major advantage). You should have excellent experience of translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications to be used by IT, ideally in a previous role in a RiskWatch implementation project. Good knowledge of financial instruments (including structured credit derivatives such as SCDOs). Good understanding of risk modelling for both market and credit risk, and knowledge of analysis such as VaR and stress testing. Excellent testing skills, including preparing test scripts and execution. Excellent oral and written communication skills, being able to communicate effectively at both a business and technical level, and good team player. IT background. Well structured and logical approach to working. Ability to work closely with both business and IT staff in a pressured environment
Solid working experience of the Business Analysis in the Risk Environment of an Investment Bank. knowledge of Algorithmics & Test Director a major plus as is exp. of Sybase. Long Term contract role with excellent rates (negotiable).
