This is a role for a Business Analyst who has experience in and real enthusiasm for the Agile/Scrum method. This is an exceptionally well funded, rapidly growing early stage company formed by a hugely experienced, entrepreneurial team. They have developed a suite of software products that are having a dramatic impact on how major organisations look at and manage key aspects of their finances. The product has only recently been released yet already is in use with some very high profile companies and is attracting huge attention at an international level.

The product is a ‘game changer’ in their industry and in today’s climate it is a ‘must have’ purchase for large organisations. There are no directly competitive solutions in the market and the product is addressing a widely acknowledged pain point for businesses.

•Work with Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are captured in a suitable format for feeding the development pipeline.
•Hands-on requirements capture through interviews, workshops and research.
•Thorough and detailed documentation of requirements.
•Translate business needs into easy to understand and accurately defined requirements ensuring clear communication with all parties.
•Work closely with the software developers to ensure their output matches the product requirements.
•Create test plans.

Experience:
•Experienced business analyst with solid experience of working in an Agile environment.
•Background of working within the Finance industry in banking, pensions or similar applications.
•Highly numerate with a good intellect; able to learn fast, absorb new complex ideas and information and communicate this to other parties.
•Strong communication skills including listening, writing and presentation abilities.
•Formal certification/training in Business Analysis techniques an advantage.
•Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and a broad grasp of software technology (Microsoft preferred).

You must be a UK / EU National or already be resident in the UK and have a current Work Permit.

Qualifying Questions:
1.Have you extensive experience as a business analyst working in an Agile environment?
2.Do you have a strong academic and numerate background?
3.Have you acted as a Business analyst within a financial services company?
4.Have you helped build complex software for financial services products?
