Business Analyst
Reading - Thames Valley
I am currently recruiting for my client based in Reading who are looking for high calibre, dedicated Senior Business Analysts to join their Delivery and Financial Engineering teams and make their own mark on the financial services software industry.
The positions involve:
•Designing and documenting software (Product Development)
•Designing, developing and documenting our financial and investment models (Financial Engineering)
•Implementing and integrating the software into client platforms
•Analysing, designing and managing client-specific configurations
•Helping us maintain and manage our core software product
•Quality assurance of the product you have designed
•Analysing and solving software, data and business issues
The Ideal candidate will have:
•Relevant business analysis experience of 3 years with the retail Financial Service Industry
•A thorough understanding of the software development and implementation lifecycles
•The ability to convey business requirements through elegant design documentation
•Knowledge of UML desireable
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•The ability to grasp and then impart complex topics across business, technical, financial and end-user audiences
•Excellent academic record (minimum of a good degree in computer sciences, financial engineering, mathematics, actuarial, engineering or similar degree)
•A strong team ethic
•Motivation and the ability to get started and manage your own time
•Relevant software skills with strong MS Office and Excel skills mandatory
•Ideally experience in business analysis, UML and project management skills
