Are you a Business Architect with client facing experience gained within financial services?
Our client is a blue-chip company who supply banking operating systems to the world’s leading financial institutions. They currently require a Business Architect with client facing experience gained within an investment bank or other financial services providers.
The role will be responsible for representing Development in the sales cycle. They will be responsible for analysis, review and amendment of the strategic road map and will support the software development team by providing consultancy and documentation reviews.
The successful candidate will use their business knowledge of banking, specifically in the areas of financial messaging (SWIFT, FIX, fpML) and Payments (including SEPA) to ensure optimum product quality. They will analyse business requirements for client specific enhancements and translate them into product-specific designs.
Key duties and responsibilities:
• Represent development in the deal construction process
• Support the sales consultant in the sales process
• Analyse, review and amend the product road maps
• Produce high-level design specifications
• Provide internal training in Banking Domain (SWIFT/ Financial Messaging/ Payments)
• Review User Manual (SWIFT/Financial Messaging/ Payments)
• Ensure specifications developed by the Business Analysts are correct with no functional omissions or errors
The Individual
The successful candidate will have financial services experience and knowledge of SWIFT/Financial Messaging/ Payments.
Experience of Financial Messaging e.g. SWIFT, SWIFTNet services, FIX, fpML is important.
Experience in building, analysing and implementing J2EE or JAVA applications is also important.
