Business Architect

An experienced business architect is required for a leading London based law firm. A business strategy consultant experienced in the application of technology in supporting business strategy and driving value in the firm.

The successful candidate will work closely with the business heads to help with stakeholder management and strategy development whilst also working projects full lifecycle with the Lead Project Managers and Technical Architects to focus on delivery solutions to business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
•The Business Strategy architect will be required to identify and exploit business opportunities provided by IT to ensure more efficient and effective performance of the firm and working with the business and IT teams looking at up and coming projects in future years and inputting into the IT strategy, identifying business benefits and budgets.
•Experience is required in stakeholder analysis, management and development in conjunction with the Service and Relationship Advisor to develop and implement a firm wide communications strategy.
•Working closely with the Technical Architect and Solutions Designer with research of other law firms and industry standards relating to their allocated Themes to help develop new ideas and thinking outside of our normal systems / solutions.


Other experience / responsibilities include:

•Require demonstrable experience of business process reengineering and general process improvement.
•Attending agreed project board meetings
•Developing quality criteria, KPI's and key metrics to support delivering strategy objectives
•Liaises with IT Service & Relationship Advisors particularly identifying and preventing IT initiatives impacting key business initiatives
•Previous experience of a business development and strategic relationship role within the legal industry is preferred with a good appreciation of business operations
•The ability to influence senior management and act as a champion to help lead change in what may well be difficult circumstances is essential.
