A leading Storage Infrastructure Solutions, Storage Management Software and Storage Consulting Services vendor with representation in over 170 countries, employing 3800+ and with customers in more than 50 percent of the Fortune 100 seeks an experienced Business Consultant to join the Business Consulting Group to develop, qualify, grow and facilitate the closure of cross portfolio complex solution sales within Global Accounts, Global Verticals and Global Systems Integrators.
The team is adding value through a broad set of expertise consisting of vertical knowledge, consulting and project management skills, relationship management, entrepreneurship, project delivery and international collaboration. It will drive the up sell from the traditional product sale, coach the sales/pre sales teams to advance solutions and therefore support the overall strategy of moving towards a solution approach.
The Business Consultant requires a minimum of 15 years within the industry as well as the following:
- Highly experienced in working in international projects
- Ability to work collaboratively, across all functions, throughout the company
- Minimum of 5 years consulting experience working with global integrators/ consulting companies
- Ability to articulate a strategy, translate this strategy into an executable plan and execute with excellence
- Proven experience of leading the sale of consultative solutions
- Proven ability of leading CxO level discussions
- Proven experience in developing consultative service offerings
- Ability to work at all levels including senior management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ideally English plus another European language
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Results oriented individual
- Capable of leading multinational transformation program
