The company:
UK-based Systems Engineering company delivering advanced surveillance systems and products for demanding environments.
They specialise in systems engineering, software and electronic engineering services and solutions to Government & Defence industries including expert design and manufacture.
Job Purpose:
The candidate will assist the Land & Air Business Development Executive in the coordination of all divisional business development activity in order to meet defined order intake targets and manage customer relationships.
The role will include:
Customer facing Business Development activities across Land & Air Division as directed by the Business Development Executive (BDE) to assist in the development of customer relationships and the identification and development of opportunities to assist in the achievement of divisional growth targets.
Preparation of EOIs and participation in PQQ/bid development.
Responsibility for driving the planning and preparation of divisional PV investment proposals for consideration by Business Director L&A and BDE.
Assisting in the development of L&A business development and marketing plans.
Identification and timely distribution of information of interest contained within Defence Contracts Bulletins (including relevant articles, opportunities, contract awards, adverts etc) and DCI Market Intelligence Monitor notices to the BDE and Divisional Business Managers (BMs).
Assist in the preparation of publicity material, data sheets and web site material relevant to L&A.
Trade Show/Conference Support (visit lists, stand manning duties etc).
The requirements:
Current SC Clearance or ability to obtain.
Degree qualified (or similar level)
Full and Current Driving Licence
