Business Development Dir - Research - Pharma

My client provides sales and marketing solutions to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. They are based in London and provide market intelligence services, Market Research, and expert knowledge. They are now looking for a business development manager to sell their solutions in the UK and EMEA wide, to leading names in the world Pharmaceuticals.
The role will see you divide your time between developing existing accounts and prospecting for new business in your defined territory with the aim of increasing spend and opening new high value accounts within the Pharmaceutical sector. You will be selling my clients portfolio of research solutions and articulate the value of their solutions to targeted clients. You will need to ensure that all projects progress properly, proactively raising the flag when required to make mid-project adjustments.
Candidates will need to have a minimum of 4 years sales experience from a research projects or information background within Pharmaceutical. My client has a London office, and you will be required in the office 2-3 times a week, so you must live in commuting distance to London. You will need to write proposals, present face to face and pitch over the phone, therefore you should be a good all rounder with excellent writing, editing and interpersonal skills.
