Business Development Director (FM/Contracting)

Our client is one of the UK’s leading engineering and maintenance companies with a network of offices across the UK. They are looking to appoint a Business Development Director to co-ordinate all their sales activities and be their ‘brand ambassador’ across their contracting and maintenance businesses which have a combined turnover of circa £250 million.

Candidates will understand the marketplace in both sectors and ideally have an engineering / technical background that relates to our client’s business. An understanding of the FM and maintenance sectors would be particularly attractive.

We need someone who knows the clients in the UK and is capable of generating new work streams and creating opportunities across a wide range of sectors including potential acquisitions. Candidates will have experience of operating at Board level and possess the leadership skills and gravitas to make a success of the role.

This is a national role however someone from the London marketplace would be an advantage.

A six figure package and very attractive bonus scheme will be paid to someone who can demonstrate the above characteristics.
