The actual title of this role is VP of Field Operations, Worldwide
Our client is a leader in Data Management and Control enterprise software. They sell mainly to engineering, construction, natural resources and manufacturing companies and they are developing new products to widen their client base. The Company HQ is in the USA, with UK ownership but, as there will be extensive travel involved, the job location is flexible. The company language is English and, with that proviso, we welcome applicants from anywhere around the World.
The role will be to increase sales, optimise operations, plan and create mid-term strategy to drive growth into existing and new markets and vertical applications. The successful applicant will manage and work with a team of experienced staff across the World and become the Brand Ambassador for the Company.
This is a strategic role and we are looking for a candidate with the attributes to operate at the highest levels of management. There is a base six figure Salary plus performance bonus and potential for Share Options and/or Share Allocation.
Business background/Experience
Candidates must have most of the following in their CV: Enterprise sales, Medium to long sales cycles, Data management/control, Existing management of Sales, Marketing and/or Business Development, Global or pan-continent experience and Direct and in-direct sales.
Personal and character attributes
As the work will involve a great deal of networking, Customer and Partner relations, public speaking and becoming the “face” of our Client, the ideal candidate should be personable, intelligent and driven. They must also be willing and able to travel extensively.
Because the candidate will have to create strategy to drive and grow the business, an entrepreneurial, perceptive and organised nature will be essential.
