Business Development Manager
Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of a broad range of customised RF, microwave and millimetre wave components and subsystems for wireless communication equipment, electronic defence systems, and point-to-point communication systems. Our client are seeking a Business Development Manager to be a front line contact for new and emerging customers and markets and to initiate the sales opportunities within the market.
Business Development Manager responsibilities:
+ Take ownership of the strategic business development plan
+ Develop and win profitable business in the defence and security sectors, globally and within the UK
+ Develop teaming and partnering arrangements with other companies internationally
+ Develop relationships with government, Business, research and corporate institutions for development of new products
+ To identify new international market opportunities and areas for new product development
Business Development Manager experience required:
+ Track record of achievements in either the defence or security sector either on a global or regional basis
+ Experience of working in a high technology market sector
+ Experience of closing major deals (£2m+)
+ Experience of developing and establishing new product lines
+ Excellent communication and Presentation skills
+ Be prepared to travel worldwide
A salary of £60k is accompanied by a competitive benefits package including a company car.
