This organisation is a leader in mission critical information systems in the field of transportation, advanced technologies, finance, energy and Public Sector. They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to market and sell “mission-critical” IT solutions and services to new name accounts in the Defence & Aerospace and/or Advanced Technology sectors.

Business Development Manager – Role/Responsibilities
+ Directing the Bid Team and liaising with partners, suppliers and the purchasing function as appropriate to achieve successful sales
+ Marketing and lead generation
+ Establishing customer contact and making appropriate presentations
+ Teaming with partners and suppliers
+ Preparation of compelling commercial offers
+ Managing Entire Sales process to contract closure

Business Development - Skills/Experience
Essential
+ Capable of selling “mission-critical” solutions and services to new name accounts
+ Previous experience of generating £5m pa in orders in a similar environment
+ Knowledge of PLM & ERP and SCM methodologies, techniques and tools
+ Degree qualified or equivalent with relevant degree
+ Ability to speak French is would be a bonus

This is fantastic opportunity based in Doncaster, Cheadle, and Basingstoke OR home but significant travel around the UK will be required. Our client is offering a basic salary of £65k with an OTE of £120k.
