An excellent opportunity to join a European specialist in facilities management which provides a global offer focused on real estate services and soft and hard services as a Business Solutions Manager.
As the Business Solutions Manager you will be required to work as part of the commercial team to achieve the company's objectives for business growth. The Business Solutions Manager will also be required to generate new business sales leads, develop, negotiate and manage suppliers and internal stakeholders, close and then progress business opportunities. To negotiate new contracts, draft tender and contract documentation, to be able to generate own leads and work at UK board level to negotiate strategic new business whilst 'thinking outside the box'.
The key responsibilities for the Business Solutions Manager are:
- Generation and development of new FM opportunities, negotiation and closure of strategic solutions in order to grow the business; annual target of £2.5 million of new business sales with a margin of at least 11%.
- Preparation and delivery of innovative presentations for new business; negotiation of new contracts, including writing and drafting tender and contract documentation.
- Manage and conduct cost analysis, development of cost models, challenging the existing and new supply chain costs in order to produce and present fully costed viable business opportunities to the Commercial Director, including undertaking life cycle cost analysis of new business opportunities.
- Attendance at tender site visits, client meetings and submission interviews, preparation and delivery of presentations and completed tender documents to prospective clients.
- Work with the operations team to ensure smooth mobilisation of new contracts.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of market trends, methods and best practice.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts in order to develop new business leads.
- Ensure that all documentation is in accordance with the QMS.
- Prepare input for internal departmental reporting.
- Work diligently and with attention to detail on tender documents, letters, presentational material and any written document that a client will receive.
- Work with the Marketing Director to develop innovative market approaches to develop new business opportunities, including business breakfast seminars, market research, targeting processes and market sector analysis.
As the successful Business Solutions Manager you must have proven experience of developing/winning new business in the FM market and experience in the negotiation and development of contracts is essential. Being well connected within the FM market and able to network unassisted within the market would be an advantage.
