Business Development Manager

Our Client is a substantial independent multi million turnover provider of a wide range of warehousing and transport services within the food and broader fmcg sectors. Highly profitable and acquisitive, the Client has a well deserved reputation for the excellence of their ‘products’ and broader supply chain solutions.

Working closely with the Directors, you will have a full responsibility for the development of sales from pipeline to final implementation and you will participate in the full process. You will win business in the agreed sectors ensuring that this is at the right margin contribution. In addition, you will manage a growing portfolio of key accounts, seeking further growth and cross sector synergies.

Of graduate calibre and with a strong commercial ‘bias’, your career to date will have demonstrated your natural flair for sales, coupled to excellent results on a commercial basis. Experience of lead generation will be essential, as will your ability to build business through relationships, credibility and integrity. Experience in the food retail or broader fmcg areas will be essential as will your ability to show career growth.
