Our client are the market leader for Air-to-Air Refuelling, providing innovative fourth generation nose to tail solutions to defence customers worldwide. Due to company growth they are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for after market sales to join their Business Development team developing after market sales.
The Role: Business Development Manager for after market sales
As Business Development Manager for after market sales you will be responsible for:
+ Delivering against the Budgeted and Forecast Order Intake
+ Developing overall customer strategy for current and future business, customer contact plan, bid strategies for winning future business
+ Ownership of bid management process for after market opportunities
+ Capture plan for specific opportunities – linked to Life Cycle Management process
+ Lead the Life Cycle gated review process up to Tender Vet
+ Building and owning business case supporting each opportunity
+ Analyse customer and competitor requirements and position
+ Monitoring and reporting on customer satisfaction
Experience:
As Business Development Manager for after market Sales you will have experience of:
+ Degree qualified or equivalent in business administration or other relevant discipline
+ Significant experience in Aerospace/Defence environment specifically after market sales
+ High level of commercial competence
+ Experience of securing orders within the after market industry
+ Strong negotiation, influencing and communication skills
