An exciting opportunity for an experienced sales / business development expert to join an award winning professional services company and be an integral part of fuelling the next stage in their business growth.

Providing HR services to corporate organisations, this company has created an innovative niche in this exciting business sector. They are now looking for an Business Development Manager to join them, initially on a contract basis. This is a flexible role on 2/3 days based initially at home.

It’s an ideal role for someone with a sales/business development or client relations background in the professional services space, seeking a flexible yet challenging opportunity. Ideally, this person will have an understanding of/experience of the corporate business sector and have an understanding of HR processes and building teams.

The minimum requirements for this role would be significant and proven sales experience including cold calling and lead generation; with specific experience in selling professional services. Some understanding of HR and Recruitment and identification of clients’ needs is also important.

The successful candidate would need to be confident, highly organised – and a mix of independent and collaborative in style. They would be a self-starter who works independently but regularly reports progress to the team. Values are important – candidates need integrity, pragmatism - and a sense of humour! There are great rewards for great contribution - with an attractive on target bonus scheme.

Salary & Flexibility:
Initially a home based role (this company will be moving to offices in Basingstoke in Q3/4 and would ideally like the chosen individual to be able to join them and work alongside the team). This role is likely to begin in Q4.
Salary negotiable for around 10 days per month

Experience:
- Significant and proven sales experience including cold calling and lead generation targeting clients at a senior level
- Specific experience in selling professional services.
- Understanding of HR/Recruitment/OD and identification of clients’ needs is also important
- Ideally understanding of working with blue-chip / corporate companies
- Using CRM system to support lead generation activities and manage communications
