Business Development Manager
London/Southern region - London
Our client is a long-established, family-run, international construction company with operations in the UK, Eastern Europe & the Middle East. They are a leading player with a diverse portfolio of work across all sectors; commercial, public sector, housing etc. Their range of projects and ability to deliver projects of all sizes stands them apart from many of their competitors and above all they deliver!
They are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for their London/Southern region with the objective of capitalising on their existing strength in the commercial, industrial, hotel and residential apartment sectors whilst building on recent successes in winning energy, civil engineering, public and major projects.
Reporting to the Pre-Construction Director, this is an important appointment for our client as you will be working alongside senior management to achieve long term business growth by developing and influencing the marketing strategy. Their requirements are therefore quite specific:
•Previous experience in business development in the London region gained from working with one of the leading building contractors or consultants
•Knowledge of commercial and end user clients together with an established network of consultants and supply chain
•Well networked with developed social skills
•The ability to demonstrate longevity and success in previous roles
•Maturity, integrity and tenacity
•Drive, enthusiasm and commitment
