Worldwide sales are €8.23bn and €1.2bn in Europe. Technology, Supply Chain & Manufacturing based in Leiderdorp, Netherlands, is responsible for the entire product life cycle from launch to discontinuation. TSC&M ensures all products reach their customers in a timely manner, from key locations in Europe. IT applications are fundamental to the smooth running of all business processes within Supply Chain & Manufacturing. We seek an experienced, motivated and ambitious individual ready to make a significant impact as the Business Information Director supporting the TSC&M function, both locally and in an international context.
Working closely with the business groups in TSC&M you will set the strategy for IT systems, advising on the use of technology to enhance business value. IT resources encompass all corporate, departmental and specific software applications, underlying business models and management of the third party providers. Leading and managing a small team, building the relationship with the business you will elicit information, analyse and scope requirements, ensuring systems are aligned with and executed against business goals and processes.
A graduate or business level qualified, supply chain manufacturing/logistics industry experience and ERP processes in an international company are a pre requisite, along with proven IT project management skills developed in a strongly regulated environment. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector and SAP is a strong preference. You will be commercially aware with a service oriented approach, able to establish relationships, communicate effectively, and manage suppliers and associated budgets. A key role you’ll have tenacity and gravitas to interact with all levels of management.
This is a 2 year fixed term role. You will receive a competitive annual package and the chance to contribute to the growth of an ambitious organisation. Significant help will be given with relocation to the area of Leiderdorp, 25 km south of Amsterdam.
