Process Mapper - Business Analyst
Manchester - North West
A leading Management Consultancy is looking for a Business Process Mapping - Business Analyst with a banking background to start week commencing either 14 July or 21 July.
This is a contract role based in Manchester for an initial period of 2 months.
Salary: £450 plus per day
Job Description
Your main duty will be to document product and pricing structures for personal current accounts (“PCAs”). As a result the Bank (end client) is going to establish a clear understanding of the cost base of the services being provided to enable them to: agree the Bank’s overdraft tariff with the OFT and identify potential opportunities where the Bank is currently providing services either free or below cost and provide a basis for ongoing pricing of current account products.
This phase will focus on gathering baseline data which represents the cost base of the business and identifies how much is directly applicable to the PCA operation.
You will be required to talk to business managers or team leaders familiar with the following areas: operations, including the customer take-on and overdraft approval process; information technology; accounting and management reporting; financial and pricing strategy; and legal and regulatory aspects.
Once you have gathered relevant information you will need to model it and present it. You will help the Bank to understand how the processes and activities fit together.
Candidate Specification
• Previous Business Process Mapping experience gained in the banking arena is a must
• Accountant background preferable but not necessary
