Business Unit Director - Discounters

A world leading organisation is looking for a Business Unit Director to lead the development of the Discounter and Export channels. In this senior role you will be responsible for the delivery of the Turnover, market share and profits achieved through the effective management of your teams.
Responsibilities:
. Inspire and lead the team to deliver sales and profit growth
. Devise channel and customer strategies to help increase market share
. Agreeing Joint Business Plans with the customers, where appropriate
. Brand building in store, in line with company plans
. Direct the relationship with customer and manage relationships across the functions
To be successful in this role you must have previous relevant experience gained within a branded FMCG environment. You must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in developing and implementing successful customer strategies. You may be currently working as a Business Unit Manager / Director elsewhere or be a National Account Controller looking for the next step up. Previous experience of managing a discount channel is highly advantageous.
