This leading retailer is looking for an experienced menswear buyer to join it's hugely successful international operation. Based in the UK this is an innovative approach to international retailing, where you both buy independently for your own territory but also work alongside one of the most powerful buying teams in the UK.Managing a team of two and reporting straight to the Head of Buying, you will have a focus on buying for the European market where you will have full accountability for buying the Knit & Jersey range. Our client already has a hugely successful store portfolio in this region, and is opening stores at a rapid rate, as the portfolio grows, so will the size of your area and responsibility, so you meed to be able to keep up! For this reason we are looking to speak to people with a dynamic approach who thrive on change and challenge in a fast paced environment. You will have a fashion forward, creative eye, and be willing to take a risk on product to really drive a more trend led range in this key area. Specific jersey or knit experience is not crucial but some menswear buying experience is required as is some time in a fast fashion high street environment.
