Catalogue Production Controller
South East England - South East
Market leading retailer requires a catalogue production controller to lead its established team. As a key member of the Senior Management team, you will be responsible for creating, developing and implementing the strategic vision of the Production Department.
Responsibilities
- Manage close ties with the Operations Controller in the delivery of continuous improvement.
- Lead the Production Department to ensure that all Catalogues and other paper channels are produced accurately, on time and within budget, using external contract agencies as required.
- Drive continuous improvement ensuring that progress is tracked, measured and learning is taken forward.
- Proactively manage and develop relationships with stakeholders
- Ensure that any new technological developments are properly assessed and as appropriate, incorporate.
- Manage and control the department financial operation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in catalogue environment at a senior level.
- Educated to degree standard.
- Knowledge of paper channel processes from artwork and design through to print
- Workflow management
- Design and creative execution
- Contract negotiation.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Ability to continually evaluate production capabilities.
- Demonstrable leadership skills in a highly pressurised environment and successfully coordinate multi-input processes.
- The job holder must have a proven track record of managing multi function teams.
